Good meal, relatively good price, simple menu. Pizza was delicious as was the pasta and caprice salad.
Place is nice and clean.
Service could have been a tad more friendlier and amicable. Been to other places where the service makes the meal, sadly this was not the case, friendly treatment was lacking but the food made up for it.
We spend €75 on 2 spritz (€7 each) caprice salad, pasta, an antipasti to share and a pizza this was for 3 people.
I had a yummy eggplant pizza, a delicious, tender polpo (octopus) starter, and a nice glass of the house red wine- all with views of the river Arno and Ponte Vecchio - I think I got the best seat in the house and got to try the homemade spicy pepper sauce! The service and location were excellent - it was a wonderful bright spot on a rainy, chilly day. Definitely check it out if you’re in Florence!
The pizzas were great. They were very tasty and they were overall great. My partner and I had a Margherita and sausage and mushrooms pizzas. My mother had the fusilli pasta. The past was excellent, with great flavour and good taste.
We also ordered a Caprese salad. The biggest disappointment of my life. For some reason, the owners decided that a caprese salad should have croutons and lettuce (like why would you do that???). I was served an Americanized Caprese salad. Why aren't the pizzas and the pasta Americanized as well... Anyway, it was very disappointing.
I find the prices of the higher end of what a restaurant should charge, but it is Italy and Italy is just like this. Be aware that there is a cover charge.
They say that in Europe there are no tips, but cover charges are just as bad as tips.
One of the best pizzas I have ever had. The flavours dance on your tongue like you wouldn’t believe. A real treat.
esperienza straordinaria! Amazing food, service and the best view in Florence! We stopped in for lunch after exploring Florence on a hot summer morning, we are glad we did! We were greeted and sat by a fantastic waiter, everything was a pleasure, especially the cold AC!
Some of the finest pizza we’ve had on our trip to Italy. Dolce Vesuvio is what I had!
We’we got the best pizza (Napoli style), pasta and salad, and after a week stay around we have some experience. I highly recommend the place.
Nice little spot with views of the Arno and Ponte Vecchio. Good wine list. If you like pizza, try the Dolce Vesuvio... great balance of savory and sweet!
